John Britt was killed when his car collided with a semi-tractor trailer driven by Daniel Oney at the intersection of 49th St N and 118th Ave N. The intersection is controlled by traffic lights in all directions. Britt reportedly ran a red light, however, unless there is a traffic camera at the intersection the only way to prove the color of the light at the time of the accident is through witness testimony, which is not always reliable.
